As artists, we created fruit art portraits inspired by the work of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Initially, we created portraits using fruit, then sketched and painted them.

Spring Term 2026
Dolphins have enjoyed a jam-packed Spring Term answering our enquiry question 'How and why have tall buildings changed from Sir Christopher Wren's time to today?'. To answer our enquiry question the Dolphins have been engineers, scientists and historians.
As Scientists, we have been learning all about materials and their properties. We have carried out experiments to test the properties of a range of materials, learning vocabulary such as 'opaque' and 'transparent'. With this information in mind, we then tested the materials to see which would be best to build a house.
Salisbury Cathedral Trip
At the start of March, we went to visit Salisbury Cathedral where we learned all about the cathedral's building materials. The Dolphins described it as being 'the best trip ever!' and 'a great day out!'. The cathedral staff were very impressed with the dolphins' incredible knowledge and impeccable manners! Well done Dolphins Class!
